It's no secret Lily DOES NOT like the grinch. She has honestly never forgiven him for stealing all the Christmas gifts and decorations form the Whos in Whoville, even though she knows he eventually changed his mind and returned them all. She doesn't trust him, even with that Santa suit on, especially when he starts singing the song about him being a "bad banana with a greasy black peel."
She also doesn't understand why her family gets such delight out of teasing her with him..... making the dreaded grinch chase her around the house while he sings his haunting song. She obliges only too easily, barking, bowing, and trying to bite at his Santa hat. To which her family laughs, hysterically. Is there something wrong with this family Christmas picture?
Lily thinks so, but loves us all unconditionally, just the same.
